On 11 December 2025, ENSE had the great pleasure of attending the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day 2026 in Brussels — a flagship annual event organised by the European Commission together with the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA).

What Is the Erasmus+ Sport Info Day?

The Erasmus+ Sport Info Day is an essential forum for organisations, sport education professionals, policymakers, and project developers interested in sport-related initiatives under the Erasmus+ programme. The event provides practical guidance on funding opportunities, insight into EU sport policy, and a chance to connect with potential partners from across Europe.

Highlights from the Day

  •  In-depth Policy Updates: Experts from the European Commission and EACEA shared the latest developments in the Erasmus+ Sport programme as it moves towards the 2026 funding cycle. Discussions included the evolving European sport model and how organisations can leverage EU support for sport education and activities.
  • Funding & Application Guidance: Participants received step-by-step advice on preparing and submitting successful applications — including tips on proposal writing, understanding selection criteria, and avoiding common pitfalls.
  • Networking Opportunities: One of the most valuable aspects of the Info Day was the chance to meet prospective as well as well known partners from all over Europe.

The insights gained at the event will be instrumental as ENSE prepares its upcoming project proposals for the new Erasmus+ calls. Thanks to the European Commission and the EACEA for the insights and the great hospitality.
