How healthy is your lifestyle, really? As part of the Healthy Lifestyle Network Europe, ENSE is joining the European Lifestyle SWITCH campaign and is inviting everyone to gain insight into their lifestyle for free with the Lifestyle Scan. Through the campaign, we aim to encourage people to consciously reflect on their lifestyle and then choose a personal Lifestyle SWITCH: one concrete step towards a healthier lifestyle.
Free insight into your own lifestyle
The Lifestyle Scan from the Healthy Lifestyle Network Europe (HLNE) gives participants insight into different aspects of their lifestyle. The results are compared with lifestyle guidelines from, among others, the Health Council of the Netherlands and the World Health Organization (WHO).
This helps participants see what they are already doing well and where there may still be opportunities to improve their health. After completing the scan, participants can decide for themselves which aspect of their lifestyle they would like to work on.
From knowing to doing
A healthy lifestyle starts with awareness. “Most people know in general that exercise, healthy nutrition, sufficient relaxation and sleep are important. But we do not always stop to consider how healthy our own lifestyle actually is. With the Lifestyle Scan, we want to help people gain insight in an accessible way and then choose one achievable step,” says Lisa, project manager at ENSE. The campaign is explicitly not only for people who professionally work on the field - Family members, friends, colleagues and other residents of the region can also participate for free.
Free Lifestyle as Medicine video series
In addition to the Lifestyle Scan, participants receive free access to the Lifestyle as Medicine video series. It explains in an accessible way how lifestyle can influence health, vitality and prevention. The video series is available in nine languages: Dutch, English, Portuguese, Spanish, Lithuanian, Serbian, Slovak, German and French.
