English has nearly 1 billion native and foreign speakers and it is, by far, the most common language in the sports world. It is present everywhere, from technical meetings to competitions, from refereeing to press conferences.
All sportspersons – directors, coaches, team managers, athletes, judges, referees, students, spectators – who already have a basic understanding of the language now have a tool to improve their Technical English.
The English Speaking Sportsworld, or TESS for short, is a multimedia e-learning tool that makes the link between language and sport. Supported by ENSE and other partners, it is a unique tool in the sports world.
