Two more amazing speakers have been confirmed for the line-up of the 15th ENSE Forum, which will be held at the University of Vienna’s Institute for Sport Science on the 26th and 27th of September 2019.
Wanda Wendel-Vos, a trained epidemiologist who has focused on investigating environmental influences on physical activity and the effectiveness of lifestyle interventions, will bring her unique perspectives for a keynote presentation titled “A Changing World and the Future Challenges of Sport: The Responsibility of Education”
Helmut Höritsch, the Senior Manager for Education and Development at the European Handball Federation (EHF) will also be present to discuss the importance, and links, between handball and education during a panel on the links between education and its real-life applications.
Beyond these keynotes and panels, the Forum will offer a space for reflection and discussion about the potential of sport to address the societal and educational challenges facing Europe. Through interactive sessions, groups and presentations, the Forum will generate knowledge and recommendations that will help both researchers and practitioners alike.
There are still spaces available for those who wish to present at the Forum. To do so, individuals can submit their abstracts by June 15th to info(a)sporteducation.eu. Oral presentations and posters are both welcome. Full abstract requirements can be found here.
To register to attend the Forum, individuals must simply fill out the registration form.
Further updates on the Forum will be shared on www.sporteducation.eu.
