In looking to combat the growing inactivity epidemic in Europe, the SPEACH project aims to develop Health and Physical Activity (HEPA) related education modules, "which will be included into existing education structures in the areas of sport coaching and physical education (PE), in order to stimulate pupils, young athletes and adults towards an active and healthy lifestyle"

A giant first step was taken in that direction last month, as the SPEACH consortium, under the guidance of the Hanze University of Applied Sciences, began developing and piloting the modules.
